I grew up on a dairy and beef farm just outside of Toowoomba, Queensland. The strong work ethic and connection to the land instilled in me during those years has shaped everything I’ve done since. After school, I completed my carpentry apprenticeship, gaining valuable skills that would later prove essential.

A deep sense of patriotism and a call to serve ran strong in my family. My Great Grandfather served in both World Wars, my Great Uncle in the Light Horse Regiment in Egypt, and my Grandfather completed his National Service. Their legacy inspired me to enlist in the Australian Army in 2000. My experience culminated in a deployment to Iraq in 2003. Serving my country instilled in me a profound sense of pride and a commitment to upholding the values we hold dear. This experience also honed my ability to pay close attention to detail, a skill crucial for both preventative maintenance and ensuring projects run smoothly. The rigours of the Australian Army further honed my ability to adapt to changing situations and overcome challenges, both essential when dealing with the unexpected nature of rural property management.

Upon returning to civilian life, I continued in the construction industry, eventually reaching the position of Project Manager. While successful, a yearning for the outdoors and working the land grew stronger. This passion led me to establish Fusion Landscape and Construction.

Fusion initially offered a wider range of landscaping and construction services. However, over time, my focus shifted to what truly ignited my passion: rural property maintenance and management. This shift allowed me to combine my construction expertise with my deep appreciation for the Australian countryside.

The teamwork and collaboration skills I developed in the Australian Army are now paramount in leading my Fusion team. We work together seamlessly to address your property’s needs. Clear communication is also essential, ensuring we understand your vision and keep you informed throughout the process. My experience in the military also instilled in me the ability to work under pressure and maintain equipment in top condition, both valuable assets when dealing with demanding rural projects.
